June 12: Finally, a visit to Bryce Canyon National Park

Finally after 3 weeks in Kodachrome and the surrounding Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument, we got to Bryce...the forecast was for rain all day, but the low lying clouds in the morning raised up and we had nothing but a few drops, but the most incredible stormy skies. I don't think it could have been prettier.

The Bristlecone Loop trail was short but offered spectacular views...thanks to Brandon at Kodachrome for the recommendation!

Wanderers and Vagabonds...

The RV started as a temporary solution to afford living in Newport Beach when Mary's company relocated to Irvine, CA. We loved it so much, we decided to make a go of full-time RVing. In July 2008 we hit the road, and have been roaming ever since. We do seasonal work camping and really enjoy it. We also use camp club memberships such as Thousand Trails and Coast to Coast to save on "rent". We have found beauty everywhere we go and hope to continue exploring and enjoying this beautiful country. Here's a great quote which sums up our hope for ourselves and for anyone seeking similar adventures:
