2014-04 A few days in Hershey, PA

We stayed at Thousand Trails just outside of Hershey

Big clubhouse, lake, miniature golf, pool - nice bones but in need of maintenance

We headed north from Washington DC through Harrisburg PA to Hershey, where we stayed for several days, catching up on laundry, stocking up at the local Costco, and visiting the local sights, including Hershey's Chocolate World, Hershey Gardens, and an outstanding local brewery, Troegs. I really enoyed the distinct grapefruit taste of Perpetual IPA, and their outstanding "snack bar" with all homemade breads, fresh ingredients and herbs, yummy!

Wanderers and Vagabonds...

The RV started as a temporary solution to afford living in Newport Beach when Mary's company relocated to Irvine, CA. We loved it so much, we decided to make a go of full-time RVing. In July 2008 we hit the road, and have been roaming ever since. We do seasonal work camping and really enjoy it. We also use camp club memberships such as Thousand Trails and Coast to Coast to save on "rent". We have found beauty everywhere we go and hope to continue exploring and enjoying this beautiful country. Here's a great quote which sums up our hope for ourselves and for anyone seeking similar adventures:
