through July 31: Frisco bike path, Keystone Bluegrass Festival and Dillon Regata

On the last day of July, we saw a bit of the Dillon Regata and then headed to nearby Keystone (12,400+ feet elevation) for the bluegrass festival where the bands were great and there were 20+ different breweries to sample. Gary had a good time sampling while I sat in the Starbucks directly across from the band and worked online while listening to great music. It was a fun day to finish our time in Frisco area.

We enjoyed the bike trail around Frisco and Lake Dillon; the scenery was gorgeous, though it was wet most of the time, and most of the forest is dead from pine beetles. Throughout the area, dead trees were cut and stacked in piles, awaiting cremation, similar to what we've seen throughout this part of Colorado.
