2014-10-22 Green Mountain Resort, Lenoir NC

This little park we stayed at for 2 nights was quite nice. Nestled in a canyon with a stream serving as backdrop for most campsites, most sites also included a wooden deck with surrounding benches, table, and firepit. The park also has a very nice clubhouse, pool, lake, nature trail, and even a nice little waterfall! There were many permanents and seasonals (who could blame them?) but the sites appeared clean and well maintained. We wish we could have stayed for Halloween - many of the residents go above and beyond in decorating, and they have over 500 kids come in the park for trick-or-treating...that would have been fun! It is an Encore park but not an original Thousand Trails park, so not on our "free" list. But $10 per night with Coast-to-Coast was a great deal. We would stay here again if ever in the area.
